Truck Driver Positions
Drives a tractor/trailer truck to make local and long-distance pick-ups and deliveries. Load, assist, and or verify in the loading/unloading of the trailer. Obtains proper documents for all deliveries/pick-ups. Responsible for checking vehicle for proper and safe operating condition before, during and after each trip. Must maintain a DOT driver's log and adhere to all DOT regulations. May occasionally be required to stay over night. *Regional hauls will require multiple nights away, sleeping in sleeper cabs*. Position requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time. Also requires occasional lifting of products and/or pallets. Ensure safety and compliance at all times.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
• 25 years or older
• Pass the Drug Test
• Pass a background check ( hireright ) 
• Poses a valid Hazmat & Doubles Endorsements ( by the 90th day of employment )
• Poses a valid TWIC Card ( by the 90th day of employment )

 Helpful Experience

• Verifiable class A  vehicle experience ( 24 months preferred )
• History of local delivery work requiring a CDL Class A license (for example, driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, dropping and hooking, operating landing gear, or backing into docks and confined spaces)
• Hauling consumer products and refrigerated perishable consumer goods (for example, transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on different trip segments)
• Operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (for example, highway driving, snow covered roads, side/local roads, city/country, maneuvering in tight spaces)
• Clear DMV Record
